Holidays Are Exhausting!
It’s been awhile since I’ve posted but Mommy has really kept me in the dark about a lot of things. First of all, we’re now in a place called Texas with Grandma and Grandpa for the holidays. I don’t know what most people think about the holidays, or why they even care, because I think they are exhausting.
Mommy put me in my carrier at 3:00 a.m. in Los Angeles and she and I took a LYFT to an airport called LAX. Mommy and the LYFT driver talked the whole way to the airport. She barely even paid attention to me when I cried and told her how much I hated being in the carrier. Then we got to the airport and Mommy took me out of the carrier and walked me through something called metal detectors. There were all of these people in uniform standing around and lots of people with suitcases just like Mommy. I was afraid I would have to ride on this conveyor belt with all the other bags through the tunnel, but Mommy took me out of the carrier before that happened.
Then we got on something called an airplane and I had to ride for over 3 hours under a seat and smell Mommy’s feet. I know I have a foot fetish, but that’s excessive even for me. Then we took a long ride in a car and got to Grandma and Grandpa’s house. The house is pretty big and there’s lots of places for me to jump and run and climb. I’ve been trying to get behind the refrigerator, but Mommy won’t let me.
Mommy has been very busy since we got here with Grandma and Grandpa. She says that both Grandma and Grandpa have to go see the doctor. I feel sorry for them. I hate to go to the doctor. And they have to do it a lot! I’m still trying to get adjusted to my new surroundings. But as long as Mommy is with me, I know it will all be ok.
And just in case you’re wondering…I’ve been a very good girl this year so I expect Santa to bring me lots of gifts!
