I'm Remodeling

I know I haven't posted for awhile -- that's because I've been busy getting bigger and driving Mommy crazy. But today, I felt compelled to share. I have a house that Mommy got me when I was smaller. In fact, it was waiting for me when I first came home with Mommy. I'm so much bigger now than I was then. I keep dropping hints to Mommy that I need a bigger house (like pulling it apart from the inside). Sometimes, though, Mommy isn't very bright. So today, I climbed up on the desk where Mommy keeps a tape measure. She only uses it to measure her waistline -- which isn't the best use for it in my opinion. I grabbed it in my teeth and took it to my house. If she's not going to measure it and build me a bigger one, I guess I'll have to do it myself. What's a cat gotta do to get sufficient hiding quarters? And another thing -- where's the furniture?! Mommy just got a new side table for the couch (I call it my perch). It seems to me that I should have a larger house with furniture in it. And I keep hearing a bunch of noise about the holidays and gifts on TV on a channel called QVC. My gift from Santa better be a bigger house with some cat-sized furniture!
