What's networking?

Mommy said she had 2 networking events today. Translation -- I didn't get my afternoon snack. I think Mommy has a very strange job. But I do like to play with her pens. And I'd like to try a little "networking" of my own. If Mommy would introduce me to other highly influential cats, then I think that I could help her build her business. Mommy's really smart -- but I still think that she should let me manage her career. For example, I've heard Mommy sing and she sings pretty well. Although, last night she pretended she was an opera singer, and I think she should stick to country blues or rock and roll. Which brings me to my next point -- while she was out "networking" she left me alone listening to George Michael. Why?!  I'm a VERY sophisticated cat. I like classical music - Tchaikosvsky and Mozart. But for some strange reason, she left me listening to the lead singer from the group Wham! Mommy told me that he was a big deal in the 80's and 90's. Newsflash -- I like classical music. And whatever you do -- don't leave me alone listening to jazz. I know Mommy likes Billie Holiday, but the saxophone and clarinets really annoy the crap out of me. I suppose this blog is my own way of networking. I'm sharing my opinions and knowledge with the world in the hopes that humans and cats can benefit from my experience. And if Mommy would let me, I'd take over ALL of her social media. Cause she isn't nearly as interesting or cute as I am.
